Dear users, this is a known issue with the way the Store itself handles purchases, not our fault. It is more detailed here: http://forums.wpcentral.com/general-microsoft-news...

Also, Microsoft has already identified the issue and they seem to be working on it: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsapp...

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Please stick to this topic to know when it is resolved.

PS: If you are really impatient about this, you could re-purchase the app for $0.99 using the Paypal option (we have just lowered the price to the minimum, temporarily). IMPORTANT: this won't enable you to claim a refund for the previous payment, but can assure you will get the full version right away and skip the waiting (since we do fully control things over payments made the way described below). You can do this by doing ... > 'premium features' > 'unlock features / remove ads' and press the Paypal button.

I solved this by going to about in the menu, then I clicked on remove ads wich sent me to Windows Store.

On the Windows Store it said that "You allready own this app" - Then I just clicked install and shut down the Facebook App and open it again.
Working perfect now with full version and no ads :)
When I tried this yesterday I still had to [ay, but this solution is working now. Thanks!
Same thing is happening to me on my 'Paid' version !!
Same problem here. Ads are back and it asks me to pay again.
Same problem here. If you can't make the app "register" a paid in-app user after an update, just make a paid version and put it in the store so THIS doesn't happen again.
Same here. Bought this two days ago and now the app turned back to a free version. Fix this asap.
Has now updated to premium version after going through 'remove ads' again

Can you try this?

I had same problem. I uninstalled app, went to store and reinstalled the free version. Store recognises that you've paid and you download full version!
I also have this problem. I had paid and now I have ads without Premium options.
Same here. This also happened a few days ago, but then I could fix it by reinstalling the app. This time it even won't let me reinstall. Come on, I don't want to go through this with every new version. Please fix this asap.
