New version of 7Dialer!
The new 2.7 version of 7Dialer brings some more interesting features and improvements
Improved startup speed
We have reduced startup speed in about 1 second. For reference, on a 1ghz device the app will take only 1.5 seconds to load, that's only 0.5 secs behind the official dialer, not bad considering that no low-access programming(faster) is allowed for third party apps like this one. But we won't give up and will continue trying to achieve the best performance possible.
Added highlighted characters when filtering
Now when you are searching for a contact, the matching text will be highlighted. This has also allowed us to remove the hints from below the number display and have a bigger number display just above the key pad.
Added call timer with vibration feedback option.
If you are concerned about charges and you what to keep every extra second under control, you can have a vibration alert each X seconds while on the call.We are introducing a detailed call log with estimated talk time. We say estimated because currently the only way to measure it is by the call start (not actually from the call-connected state). But the good thing is you can have an estimate total minutes count of your outbound calls.
Option to set exact dialpad backgrounds(476x380 px)
If you want to skin your dialpad for example, you can prepare a custom image of 476px width and 380px height and set it to be your dialpad background with the desired opacity/transparency. See this tutorial for details. (There is a small issue with bleeding borders which is being fixed in v2.8)
Added tap & hold to copy to clipboard (on profile)
On the contact profile page, you can now tap and hold any number or email, and it will be copied to the clipboard automatically so you can paste it anywhere else. You can also use the ... > "Copy" command to copy the entire contact profile to the clipboard.
Re-positioned Ads for more comfort (free version)
On the free version, we have moved the ads to the top. We are also now showing text(black and white) ads which are somehow less invasive.
Even smarter dialing
Some improvements made to the search algorithm. Now for example pressing 203 will search ABC[space]DEF, for example Andrew Feldon.
