Scam apps on Windows Phone Store

Dear users,

We have been just notified that a fake copy of moBudget is being sold on the Windows Store (Marketplace). After further investigation we found that also Handyscan was being scammed.

So please be cautious, for any app, always look at the publisher saying JDB Pocketware. Also always look at the ratings and reviews.

We have already reported this to Microsoft, while it is strange they have allowed two apps to be named exactly the same...

Thanks Pavel.B. for notifying us.

Important warning! Thanks for the heads-up about fake "moBudget" and "Handyscan" apps on the Windows Store. Always verify the publisher (JDB Pocketware) and read reviews. This is why I play Wordle Unlimited - it's authentic and free! Hopefully, Microsoft acts swiftly. Stay vigilant, everyone!

It's alarming to hear about these fake apps! Always double-check the publisher and user reviews before downloading anything. It's like clicking endlessly in Cookie Clicker hoping for that perfect upgrade – you need to be careful where you put your clicks! Hopefully, Microsoft resolves this quickly. Thanks for the heads-up, Pavel.B.!

Thanks for the warning! It's wild that Microsoft let clones with the exact same name pass certification. App stores feel like a minefield these days. When I get frustrated reading about tech scams and bad news, I just open a tab of Drift Boss to clear my head for a bit. Hope MS takes those fakes down soon!
